Intelligent Goat principally exists to support private equity backed businesses, working alongside the CEO, principal investor or the lead finance role, to support and challenge the workings of the finance function. Post or pre-acquisition, during a high growth phase, during more challenging times, or ahead of an exit or IPO.

We work with the objective of putting in place strong financial discipline to support the immediate decision making and a finance roadmap to support longer term objectives. Sometimes assignments are hands-on short to mid-term, occasionally our role is simply supporting the existing CEO, Finance Director or Finance Controller with additional resource of twice monthly mentoring or coaching, to improve the output of financial information, or simply to help transition Managers into Leaders.
